Jarrett Boykin blocked Bears punt by kicking it (Video)
How pathetic were the Chicago Bears in their loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night? So pathetic that the Packers actually managed to kick one of Chicago’s punts before the Bears could.
At the beginning of the third quarter, Packers wide receiver Jarrett Boykin got into the backfield so quickly on a punt attempt that he was able to jump and kick the ball before Bears punter Pat O’Donnell could.
In fact, Boykin wasn’t even credited for a blocked punt. The punter has to kick the ball first for it to count as a blocked punt, so instead it was just a turnover on downs.
So, yeah, the Bears are that bad.
