Jason Pierre-Paul was in bathroom during Giants’ halftime adjustments

Jason-Pierre-Paul

When you gotta go, you gotta go. But that doesn’t mean you need to tell everyone about it.

The New York Giants took a 17-14 lead into halftime against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday before being blown out in the second half. The G-Men had no answer for Marshawn Lynch, who rumbled his way to 140 yards and four touchdowns. One team made adjustments and the other failed to.

What did the Giants talk about at halftime, Jason Pierre-Paul?

“I don’t know,” Pierre-Paul told reporters, per Bob Glauber of Newsday. “I was in the bathroom.”

He probably should have put a rush on that one. The Giants allowed a whopping 350 rushing yards and fell to 3-6 on the year. Their season is starting to slip away.

“It’s embarrassing,” Pierre-Paul said. “At the same time, we made big mistakes. In the second half, we had a lead and came back out, and we just made big mistakes.”

New York was outscored 24-0 in the second half. It’s not like their game plan would have been different if Pierre-Paul wasn’t taking a dump, but he probably could have kept that little tidbit of information to himself.
