Jason Pierre-Paul hopes Tom Brady gets sick prior to game against Giants

Jason Pierre-Paul

To say Tom Brady is having a good season thus far would be an understatement. He currently leads the NFL in passer rating (113.5) and touchdown passes (22). He’s also third in passing yards (2,709) while throwing only two interceptions.

This Sunday, Brady and the Patriots face the Giants, who now have Jason Pierre-Paul back. New York’s defense will certainly have its hands full with a Patriots offense that leads the league with an average of 34.5 points per game. As far as game plan for slowing down Brady, Pierre-Paul didn’t get into specifics, but he did jokingly offer up one thing that might work in his team’s favor.

The way Brady is rolling this season, I’m not sure a virus would even be able to stop Tom Brady.

The Giants didn’t have much success against Drew Brees a couple of weeks ago, so it’s fair to ask what Brady could do against them. However, Pierre-Paul was quick to not one difference between that game and the upcoming one.

In a few days, we’ll see what kind of impact Jason Pierre-Paul makes on the game. His hopes of facing an under the weather Brady probably won’t materialize, so he and the rest of his buddies will have to bring their A game.
