John Fox: Jay Cutler is day-to-day, injury will not end season
Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler’s season is not over and he hasn’t even been ruled out of Sunday’s contest yet, according to coach John Fox.
Fox disputed initial reports that stated Cutler had a shoulder injury that would keep him from returning again in 2016. He characterized the quarterback as day-to-day, but was evasive with regards to what injury Cutler is actually dealing with.
Fox: Cutler's injury is not season-ending. "He's a tough son of a gun." #Bears

Fox said he considers Cutler to be day to day. Interpret that however you see fit.

Fox will not say whether Cutler's labrum is torn or whether he will require surgery.

It’s still far more likely than not that Matt Barkley gets the nod on Sunday against Tennessee. The fact that Cutler hasn’t been definitively ruled out is kind of shocking given the initial reports, but Fox may just be trying to dodge specifics at this point.
