Jerry Jones still has a ‘lot of confidence’ in Cowboys’ offense
The Dallas Cowboys’ offense has not inspired much confidence this season, but Jerry Jones still has not lost his faith.
Jones was asked after the team’s 24-13 loss to Seattle on Sunday for his thoughts on offensive coordinator Scott Linehan. The team owner said he still has a “lot of confidence” that they can turn things around.
Jerry Jones on Scott Linehan: "There is no vote of confidence, no lack of confidence There is no anything. We’re 1-2. We’re not hitting on all cylinders. I have a lot of confidence that we can get into games and hit on cylinders. We just got to come back and get to work."

Ezekiel Elliott continues to look good and put up 127 yards on 16 carries, but the passing game has been lacking. Dak Prescott was 19/34 for 168 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions (both thrown to Earl Thomas). He has failed to throw for more than 170 yards in a game this season.
The Cowboys moved on from Dez Bryant this offseason and saw Jason Witten retire. They heavily invested in Prescott and need him to step up. Jones is confident that will happen, but we should expect to see big changes if that does not materialize.
