Jerry Jones says he will stay quiet on Ezekiel Elliott case

Jerry Jones

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is not going to be sticking his nose into the Ezekiel Elliott proceedings.

As the team continues to await word on the appeal of his six-game suspension, Jones told 105.3 The Fan on Friday that he has been “uncharacteristically” quiet on the Elliott matter — and intends to stay that way.

Despite Jones’s typically outspoken nature, there’s not a lot for him to say here. We do know that he’s feeling optimistic about Elliott’s appeal, but it seems like anything he could say would only distract from or hinder the appeal process.
