Jets, Ryan Fitzpatrick reportedly not making any progress toward deal
There has been more talk about Ryan Fitzpatrick and the New York Jets finding an agreement over the last week, but the two sides reportedly remain as far apart as ever.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter said that it could be quite some time before the two sides make any sort of breakthrough.

So the saga drags into June, and it doesn’t sound like either side is going to be budging. The Jets aren’t offering Fitzpatrick the starter money he feels he deserves. In fact, there are even whispers that Fitzpatrick would take less money from another team at this point, so aggrieved is he with the Jets’ negotiations. The question becomes where, as most teams have settled on their quarterback options at this juncture. That has been the Jets’ stance all along – Fitzpatrick would have no other option but to return to New York. We’ll see how long they’re willing to test his resolve.
