Jets sign receiver who held sign outside Texans stadium asking for job
Joe Anderson has found a taker for his services.
Anderson, who last month stood outside of NRG Stadium in Houston with a sign petitioning the Texans for a job, has been added to the New York Jets’ practice squad.

It may be the practice squad, but it’s great to see Anderson get his shot to prove his worth to an NFL team. There’s no way of telling if his stunt helped him get this job, but either way, credit to him for coming up with a creative way to shine a spotlight on himself, because he’s not the only guy out there looking for any sort of NFL job he can get.
