John Jastremski, Jim McNally expected to be reinstated

Jim McNally

The New England Patriots’ employees who were implicated in the Deflategate scandal are expected to be reinstated by the league in the next few days, according to a report.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news on Wednesday, which indicates John Jastremski and Jim McNally would be able to work the Patriots’ next home game:

McNally is the employee who was accused of sneaking some balls into a bathroom prior to the AFC Championship Game. He was accused of being compensated for allegedly deflating balls in the form of autographs. He’s also the guy who referred to himself as “the Deflator.”

The two men were suspended by the league in May, though Roger Goodell denied that was the case (Schefter pretty much called him a liar for denying that). It was reported last week that the Patriots were seeking to have them reinstated.
