Johnny Manziel sent apology note, champagne after fight in Hawaii
Johnny Manziel may not have been the instigator in an alleged fight he got into in Hawaii last week, but he obviously did enough to feel an apology was in order.
TMZ obtained a copy of the note that Manziel supposedly sent to the man he punched, who was said to be staying at the same hotel as the free agent quarterback. Both were in Hawaii for a friend’s wedding, and the incident reportedly took place at the rehearsal dinner.
“Truly apologize should have never done that,” the note read. “Know this won’t make it better, but hope it starts the day off alright. Best, Johnny Manziel.”
Manziel included a bottle of champagne and some orange juice along with the letter. His friends claim he was being “hounded” by the guy he punched and that the two had a history with one another. You can read more details about the fight here.
