Report: Johnny Manziel will throw at Texas A&M pro day
Johnny Manziel threw in front of NFL scouts for the first time in a long time at the University of San Diego’s pro day last Thursday, and he will have another opportunity to do that when his alma mater hosts the same event this week.
Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports reports that Manziel will throw passes to Christian Kirk and other Texas A&M wide receivers on Tuesday.

Around a dozen scouts were present to watch Manziel last week, and reports indicated he looked impressive. New Aggies head coach Jimbo Fisher invited Manziel to Texas A&M after the 25-year-old threw for San Diego, and Manziel has apparently accepted the invitation.
Manziel has been trying to prove to NFL teams that he is serious about a comeback, and he recently opened up about the mistakes he made during his brief pro career. He has an offer from a CFL team, but his goal is obviously to play in the NFL again. Manziel seems to understand that the odds are stacked against him, but all it takes is one team to invite him to training camp. The more opportunities he has to throw in front of NFL talent evaluators, the better his chances are.
