Joseph Randle arrest video — he offered officer $100 for a massage
Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle brought us the most humiliating arrest of the season earlier this month when he was pinched for stealing underwear and cologne from a department store. The way he acted after stealing the items was even more embarrassing.
A video released on Wednesday shows Randle acting like a total d-bag while he was being booked at the Frisco County Jail following his arrest. At one point, the 22-year-old asked a jailhouse employee for a massage.
“If I give you $100, can you give me a massage?” Randle said.
Randle also expressed concern over making it to Cowboys practice the next day and wondered out loud why teammate Josh Brent is still in the locker room after he drove drunk. Here are some of Randle’s “best” quotes from the booking, courtesy of CBS Dallas-Fort Worth.
“Hey, is this going to be on the news, you think?”
“How come y’all don’t have the height and weight on there like you normally do?”
“Josh Brent, he’s still up in the locker room. He was driving drunk. That’s stupid.”
At one point, Randle tried to use his cell phone without permission and was told to stop. He also tossed his jacket to a booking officer like the officer was a coat room employee at a nightclub.
Considering the reason Randle gave for stealing the items from the department store, we’re not surprised he acted like such a clown when he was being booked. The Cowboys would be wise to just release him at this point.
