Joseph Randle arrested for allegedly being drunk at casino, assaulting officer
Former Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was arrested outside a Kansas casino Tuesday night when he allegedly assaulted a security guard after being told to leave because he was too intoxicated.
TMZ reports that Randle was asked to leave the casino floor shortly after 10 p.m. because security believed he was drunk. On his way out, Randle allegedly spit on the floor and assaulted an officer.
Randle was arrested on charges including felony criminal threats, misdemeanor assault of a law enforcement officer, interference with a law enforcement officer, battery, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass. He was still in custody as of Wednesday morning and being held on $25,000 bail.
Randle could be in serious trouble, as he was already on probation for stealing underwear and cologne from a department store last year. You can see footage of that incident here. The 23-year-old was released by the Cowboys earlier this month, just before the NFL suspended him four games for a drug-related incident that stemmed from a domestic violence call. Randle’s entire NFL career is in jeopardy.
