Report: Josh Allen expected to miss at least 2-3 weeks
Josh Allen is expected to miss at least 2-3 weeks because of his elbow injury, according to a report.
Allen injured his elbow in the Buffalo Bills’ loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday and was replaced by Nathan Peterman. Allen received a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews on his sprain, and NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero says Allen is now expected to miss 2-3 weeks.
#Bills QB Josh Allen received a second opinion on his sprained elbow from Dr. James Andrews, and while he won’t need surgery, the expectation as of now is Allen will miss at least two or three games, then be week-to-week from there, source said.

The Bills do not have their bye until Week 11, so they won’t get any relief there. That means any week Allen misses before Nov. 11 would cost him a game.
The 2-4 Bills have Peterman and Derek Anderson behind Allen on the depth chart.
