Josh Gordon sends cryptic tweet about Browns’ roster moves?

Josh-Gordon

Josh Gordon is still awaiting word from the NFL on whether he will be reinstated for the 2016 season, and it sounds like he is starting to get concerned.

In addition to wondering if the league will let him play in the near future, Gordon could also be a bit uneasy about all the players the Cleveland Browns have moved on from this offseason.

The Browns have already watched Alex Mack, Travis Benjamin, Karlos Dansby, Tashaun Gipson and Dwayne Bowe walk out the door. That could have something to do with their new analytics-based approach to running a football team, but one Browns official already said the team has a roster spot waiting for Gordon if he is reinstated.

Earlier this week, Gordon sent a series of tweets hinting he was considering playing another sport. He later deleted the tweets and was probably joking, but Fansided was able to capture them.

Gordon is only 24, and he carries a cap hit of just over $1 million in 2016 before becoming a free agent next summer. He’s an incredible bargain from a talent standpoint, and the Browns could always just cut him if he had another one of his infamous screwups. He’s worth the risk.
