Josh Gordon appears to tweet about wanting Johnny Manziel to start
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon appeared to tweet Saturday about his buddy Johnny Manziel.
Gordon is suspended for the season for being a repeat violator of the league’s substance abuse policy. He tweeted his intention to watch the Browns’ game against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday and seemed to suggest they start Johnny Manziel with a “start the guy” hashtag.
Waiting to spectate this @ESPNMondayNight tho.. #starttheguy

Gordon’s tweet was picked up by multiple media outlets including ESPN, likely leading to this response from Gordon:
Can't even sneeze too loud these days geez lol.. Kinda cool tho..

Though he did not confirm whom the tweet was about, Gordon is good friends with Manziel and even tweeted about one of Johnny Football’s close friends. Were they all hanging out? Who knows, but it does seem like Gordon and Manziel are still buddies. Unfortunately the Browns are unlikely to budge about Manziel after he lied to the team.
