Barring a late change, the Patriots are going to lose both their offensive and defensive coordinators after their season ends. As ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Sunday, Matt Patricia is expected to be named the next head coach of the Detroit Lions.
McDaniels’ first stint as a head coach with the Denver Broncos in 2009 and 2010 was a failure, but Tim Tebow was his quarterback. He should have a lot more success coaching Andrew Luck, assuming the latest we have heard about Luck’s shoulder injury is true.
