Josh McDaniels reportedly viewed as strong candidate for Colts
Josh McDaniels is one of the hottest head coaching candidates, and he apparently is being viewed as a strong candidate for the Indianapolis Colts’ job.
CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora reported Wednesday that McDaniels was expected to interview with the Colts.
The Colts are interviewing Josh McDaniels tonight. He is a very, very strong candidate there. Pairing him with Luck could be potent

McDaniels, who is in his second stint as offensive coordinator for the New England Patriots, has previous head coaching experience with the Denver Broncos. He is also a candidate for the Giants and Bears jobs.
In addition to McDaniels, the Colts reportedly plan to interview Kris Richard, Matt Nagy, Steve Wilks and Mike Vrabel.
The #Colts have requested an interview with #Seahawks DC Kris Richard for their head coaching job, sources say. So add him to names @RapSheet and @MikeGarafolo said earlier: Josh McDaniels, Matt Nagy, Steve Wilks, Mike Vrabel. #Bills interviewed Richard last year.

The Colts’ job is a desirable one because of the possibility of working with Andrew Luck. Though Luck is coming off a missed season due to shoulder surgery and a setback in his recovery, coaches would be banking on the possibility of him being ready for next season.
