Josh Norman will get penalty for interception of Peyton Manning
Josh Norman raised some eyebrows prior to the Super Bowl when he said he would bow to Peyton Manning if he got an interception on the Denver Broncos quarterback.
When Norman made the comment, some apparently thought it meant the Carolina Panthers star cornerback would get on the ground and do a “Wayne’s World” style bow to the legendary QB. Norman says that is not at all what he meant. Norman told the media prior to the Super Bowl that he would give a Japanese-type bow of respect.
Here’s video of Norman clarifying what he meant:
Larry Brown Sports was there when Norman talked about it and recorded the video. Norman also said he would probably be so excited if he gets an interception that he would get a penalty for excessive celebration. We shall see if that comes true.
