Josh Norman rips Sal Paolantonio: ‘He can take his bag and go barf in it’
The Carolina Panthers improved to 6-0 on the season with another convincing win Sunday night, and many thought the Philadelphia Eagles were going to hand them their first loss of the year. Among the Panthers doubters was ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio, and Carolina cornerback Josh Norman had a message for him after the game.
“Sal Paolantonio — whatever his name is, I don’t know how to say it,” Norman told reporters, as shown in a video over at Black and Blue Review. “It’s in the bag, right? He can take his bag and go barf in it. That’s how I really feel.
“I think it’s the flavor of the week. … Everybody continues to doubt our team. As you see, it was a team win again tonight.”
Paolantonio is based out of Philadelphia, and he obviously liked what he saw from the Eagles in their wins in Week 5 and Week 6. However, Sam Bradford was unable to get anything going downfield against Carolina’s swarming defense. Norman, who is playing at an incredibly high level in his fourth season, came away with his fourth interception of the year.
We saw the type of passion Norman displays when he got into a fight with his own quarterback during training camp. Sal Pal clearly gave him some added motivation against Philly.
