Josh Norman: Rodney Harrison is ‘horrible at his job’

Josh-Norman

Rodney Harrison was one of the better defensive backs in the game during his playing days, but Carolina Panthers cornerback Josh Norman thinks the former New England Patriot is a lousy analyst.

On Wednesday’s edition of “PFT Live,” Harrison said he anticipates Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones having the edge over Norman in Sunday’s matchup. He did, however, call Norman “the best cornerback in the league right now.”

“But he has not seen a guy on Julio Jones’ level — the size, the speed, the consistency, the hands,” Harrison said. “This guy is hands-down the best wide receiver in the league and he’s getting better each and every week.”

When one of Norman’s Twitter followers called his attention to Harrison’s analysis and noted that Harrison said last week that he believes the Seattle Seahawks are better than the Panthers, Norman ripped the two-time Super Bowl champion.

While it didn’t seem like Harrison said anything all that harsh, Panthers fans should be glad Norman is taking it as an insult. The 27-year-old is playing at an All-Pro level this year, and his previous comments about this ESPN reporter indicate he is using the media as motivation. The 12-0 Panthers don’t want that to change.
