Julian Edelman shares image of Tom Brady as Braveheart
Tom Brady is back to impose his will on opposing defenses, and Julian Edelman knows just the right analogy for the situation.
After Brady returned from his four-game suspension on Sunday to dismantle the Cleveland Browns to the tune of 406 yards and three touchdowns in a 33-13 victory, Edelman shared an image to his Twitter account of his quarterback depicted as the Scottish warrior William Wallace from Mel Gibson’s award-winning 1995 film Braveheart.

Eeldeman, who had already been expressing his excitement on Twitter about Brady’s imminent return, only caught five passes for 35 yards in the victory, but is clearly ecstatic to have Tom Terrific back under center. The character comparison is spot-on as well given how many have been expecting a reinstated Brady to unleash a bloodbath on the rest of the league.
Now if only Brady would work on his primal screams and start coming out in full face paint.
