Report: Julio Jones not expected to miss playing time with hip injury
Julio Jones left Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills with a hip injury in the first half, but fortunately early indications are that the star wide receiver is not dealing with anything serious.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Jones suffered a hip flexor injury. The timing may work out, as the Atlanta Falcons have a bye in Week 5.

Jones has dealt with some nagging injuries over the years, and he was hobbled by a foot injury down the stretch last season. He was still able to help the Falcons reach the Super Bowl and come up with some big plays in that game despite playing through pain.
In four games this season, Jones has caught 19 passes for 295 yards. He has yet to score a touchdown.
