Did Kelvin Benjamin shade Cam Newton in Instagram post?
Many fans are firmly of the opinion that Kelvin Benjamin is still trolling Cam Newton, this time via Instagram.
The battle between the former teammates seemed to continue unabated on Friday, as Benjamin posted a video to Instagram of Bills quarterback Nathan Peterman completing a pass to Benjamin in the team’s preseason opener against Newton’s Carolina Panthers. In the caption, Benjamin made it a point to praise Peterman for his accuracy.
Two things here. First, no offense to Peterman, but as this is a man who once threw five interceptions in one half. Nobody has ever really raved about his accuracy. Second, consider that it was Newton’s accuracy that Benjamin originally singled out. It’s hard not to view this as another shot at Newton, and everyone in Benjamin’s Instagram comments certainly did.
Benjamin and Newton have already confronted each other once. It doesn’t look like this feud will die out anytime soon.
