Kelvin Benjamin suffers knee injury during practice (Video)
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin suffered what looked like a serious knee injury during practice on Wednesday morning.
Benjamin was running a route against one-on-one coverage during a joint practice with the Miami Dolphins. He made a cut toward the sideline and immediately dropped to the turf and grabbed his left knee.

The injury appeared to be of the non-contact variety, which usually isn’t a good sign. Benjamin was carted off the field.
Benjamin is expected to be a huge part of Carolina’s offense this year coming off a rookie season in which he caught 73 passes for 1,008 yards and nine touchdowns. The former Florida State star is already a favorite target of Cam Newton’s — especially in the red zone. If Benjamin were to miss significant time, it would be a major setback for the Panthers.
