Kelvin Benjamin misses practice, reportedly dealing with sore knee
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin appears to be dealing with a flare-up in his injured knee.
After he left practice early on Wednesday, Benjamin was not spotted on the field with the Panthers on Thursday. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that he has been battling knee soreness.
#Panthers WR Kelvin Benjamin, who is not spotted by reporters at practice today, is dealing with a sore knee, I’m told.

Benjamin was not listed on the final injury report before last week’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, and he caught nine passes for 99 yards in the 28-23 loss. The team could simply be managing his reps, but a missed Thursday practice is never a good sign.
A few weeks back, Benjamin was one of several Panthers players who were not happy with the new turf at Gillette Stadium when they played the New England Patriots. He may have tweaked his knee in that game.
