The Dallas Cowboys are going to have a major hole to fill on their offensive line in the coming weeks, as La’el Collins has reportedly suffered a torn ligament in his foot and will miss a significant amount of time.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Collins is scheduled to have a second opinion to determine if he needs surgery. He is expected to miss 6-10 weeks.

After going undrafted in 2015, Collins broke out with the Cowboys and won the starting left guard job. He joined a Dallas offensive line that was already considered the best in football and made it better with incredible plays like this.

Collins will likely be placed on injured reserve but will have a chance to return later in the year if his recovery goes well.
