Lamar Jackson sidelined at practice with stomach ailment
The Baltimore Ravens have suddenly become the walking wounded at the quarterback position, and we may end up seeing Robert Griffin III make his first appearance in a game since 2016 because of it.
Joe Flacco has missed practice all week with a hip injury, and rookie first-round pick Lamar Jackson sat out Thursday’s session with a stomach illness.
A stomach issue sidelined Lamar Jackson from today’s practice, per source. Robert Griffin III was the lone healthy Ravens’ QB at practice today.

Both Griffin and Jackson have been preparing this week as though they could start, with Jackson expressing confidence earlier this week that he will be good to go. However, practice reps are very important for a rookie who has not made an NFL start in his career. Depending on how serious Jackson’s illness is and where Flacco is at with his hip injury, there’s a very real chance it could be RG3 time in Baltimore.
