Le’Ron McClain arrested on synthetic marijuana charge
Former Alabama and Baltimore Ravens fullback Le’Ron McClain was arrested on Wednesday on charges of trafficking synthetic marijuana, AL.com reports.
McClain was found with 122 grams of synthetic marijuana on him during the course of another investigation and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
When police went to serve the warrant, McClain’s mother told them her son had left the state. Despite the information, McClain was arrested in downtown Tuscaloosa a few hours later.
McClain was arrested and charged with one count of trafficking. He was booked on $500,000 bond.
McClain played in the NFL from 2007-2013 and was a member of the Ravens, Chiefs and Chargers. He scored 16 touchdowns in his career, including 902 rushing yards and 10 TDs in 2008. He was cut by the Chargers in March.
We remember McClain from the time he spit on Channing Crowder during a 2010 Ravens-Dolphins game.
