LeSean McCoy says he is ready to move past his feud with Osi Umenyiora

Bad news for the blog world: LeSean McCoy doesn’t have anything negative left to say about Osi Umenyiora. Following the Eagles victory over the Giants on Sunday night, McCoy says he tried to bury the hatchet with Umenyiora.

“We crossed paths a couple times, we gave each other the eye,” McCoy said on SportsRadio WIP Monday according to CBS Philly. “In the warmups, we looked at each other funny. I think after the game, it’s time to get over this Osi and LeSean thing because after the game (Umenyiora) said ‘you’re a heck of a player, we’re in this business, let’s get over this.’ He said, ‘let’s be done with it.’

“Being a bigger man, also for myself, you’ve got to focus on the Giants, they’re a good team already. My goal is not an inter-division battle with Osi. It’s with the Giants, and trying to get to the Super Bowl.”

These comments come just over a week after McCoy fired this insult at Osi and said their feud is genuine. Of course, it’s easy for LeSean to say he’s done with the rivalry following a 19-17 victory. Umenyiora may have agreed to “be done with it,” but it will be interesting to see if he is willing to move on from the feud or if he still thinks McCoy is a woman.
