Le’Veon Bell blocked from attending prom due to school policy
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell won’t be attending a Wisconsin prom after the school’s administration put a stop to it.
According to Annysa Johnson of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Ava Tarantino, a 17-year-old student at Waukesha West, will attend the prom’s opening ceremonies with Bell, but cannot take him to the dance, citing district policy.
It all started with a Twitter dare that Bell ultimately responded to.
@L_Bell26 500 rts and you'll go to prom w me

However, Bell is too old, per district policy, and also has a past marijuana bust on his record, which means he would not be allowed to attend.
“You can Google Mr. Bell,” district spokeswoman Terry Schuster said.
Bell had to face the music from the NFL due to the incident, and now he can’t go to this prom, either. It sounds like they’ll find an alternative way to make things work, though.
