Le’Veon Bell reportedly completes probation from marijuana arrest

LeVeon-Bell

Le’Veon Bell may be a repeat offender of the NFL’s substance abuse policy, but his official record is now clear of the DUI arrest that resulted in the Pittsburgh Steelers running back being suspended for the first three games of the 2015 season.

According to a report from TMZ, Bell recently completed the 15-month probation program he was ordered to follow after he was arrested for driving while under the influence and possession of marijuana back in August 2014. The probationary period began in February 2015.

Bell was reportedly prohibited from using drugs and alcohol while on probation. He also had to complete a safe driving class and pay some fines. Now that all the terms have been met, the case has been wiped off his record.

If you remember, Bell made a classic remark to police after being arrested.

As we recently learned, Bell could be suspended for the first four games of the upcoming season for skipping out on some drug tests. Many assume Bell allegedly missed those tests because he had something to hide. When you factor in that he would have been in violation of his probation if he was found to have used any drugs, those theories are only going to gain steam.
