Le’Veon Bell has candid reaction to Todd Gurley’s new contract
Todd Gurley did something on Tuesday that Le’Veon Bell was hoping to do much earlier in his career, and the Pittsburgh Steelers star was quick to share his thoughts on Gurley resetting the running back market.
Not long after the Rams signed Gurley to a four-year, $60 million extension, Bell congratulated his counterpart on Twitter before taking a swipe at those who thought his long-term contract demands were unreasonable.

Gurley’s deal reportedly includes $45 million guaranteed, which is the most ever for a running back in NFL history. The Steelers’ most recent offer to Bell is said to have featured somewhere around $33 million guaranteed, so you can understand why he was quick to rub it in the team’s face.
The extension Gurley signed confirms that Bell is in for a massive pay day when he becomes a free agent after the 2018 season, especially if the prediction he made comes to fruition.
