Le’Veon Bell spotted at nightclub in Miami as holdout continues

Le’Veon Bell chose to continue his holdout by skipping Week 1 of the regular season, and it would appear he will be taking that same approach ahead of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ second game of the year.

As his teammates prepare for another week of practice and meetings, Bell was spotted hanging out at a nightclub in Miami late Monday night into early Tuesday morning. According to TMZ, Bell arrived at Rockwell in South Beach at around midnight and hung around the DJ booth. He even posed for some photos with fans.

The Steelers have a pretty big AFC matchup coming up against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, and there have been no indications that Bell intends to show up before then. He can technically wait until Week 10 of the season to sign his franchise tender in order to avoid having his contract toll.

Steelers running back James Conner had a huge day operating as the team’s featured back against the Cleveland Browns, as he rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns and added another 57 yards receiving. However, the end result was not ideal for Pittsburgh, as they wound up with a 21-21 tie. Bell sent a tweet after the game that many interpreted as a shot at his team, though he denied it.
