Le’Veon Bell throws down dunk during rehab from knee injury (Video)
In early November, Le’Veon Bell suffered an MCL injury that ended his 2015 season after just six games. Fast forward to today, and it looks as though his rehab is progressing quite well.
On March 1, the Steelers running back posted a video to his Twitter account showing him running on a treadmill and declaring it a “big day.” Not quite two months later, it’s obvious Bell has regaining atleast some of his explosion.
Bell posted a video on Monday of himself throwing down a dunk along with a message.

While not a certainty, it was expected the 24-year-old would be ready for the opening game of the upcoming season. Barring any setbacks, Bell appears well on his way to making that a reality.
Bell has emerged as one of the more potent offensive threats in the NFL since being drafted in 2013. In 2014, he finished second in the league with 1,361 rushing yards and also caught 83 passes for 854 yards on the way to his first selection to the Pro Bowl and a spot on the All-Pro Team.
With Martavis Bryant facing a year-long suspension, Bell and fellow running back DeAngelo Williams figure to be busy in 2016, giving Bell plenty of opportunities for Bell to show those who may have forgotten he’s still one of the NFL’s elite backs.
