In the past couple of weeks, we here at LBS have been “sacking” athletes who have been behaving badly. Thus far, we’ve “sacked” Miguel Cabrera for smiling during his mugshot and Nai Fotu for his DUI arrest and requisite field sobriety test. Those two have now been joined by St. Louis Rams scout Luke Driscoll, who was arrested early Friday morning in Indianapolis.
Several reports say that police found Driscoll urinating on a building in downtown Indy, at which point he reportedly flashed his genitals at a female officer on the scene.
The 33-year-old Driscoll has been a member of the Rams’ scouting department for 11 years and a college scout for six. According the the Rams’ official website, Driscoll graduated from Hastings College (Neb.) with degrees in criminal justice and psychology. Apparently he was sick the day they went over public intoxication and nudity.
Isn’t he supposed to be the one vetting players for character issues? The Rams are reportedly looking into the issue, but really, what could there be to look into? Unless it was some other bald guy with a goatee by the name of Luke Driscoll flashing his wienis around, this dude’s in trouble.
