This report should not come as a surprise to those who have been following the situation.
Last month a Bills reporter said it was only a matter of time before GM Doug Whaley was fired. The word then was that new head coach Sean McDermott has the personnel control.
The Ringer’s Michael Lombardi said as much on Friday when he said it was McDermott running the draft:
Im told Sean McDerrmott making all the moves in Buffalo….he is running this draft.

In addition to Whaley’s job being on the line, Pro Football Talk recently reported that many Bills scouts could get fired.
When new leadership takes over an organization, the threat of them bringing in their own people always exists. It seems that may be the case in Buffalo.
