Mark Sanchez has cornrows
It appears Mark Sanchez has finally had enough. The New York Jets quarterback has been on the sidelines nursing an injury all year long while he watches rookie Geno Smith do what he believes is his job. So on Friday, it appears Sanchez finally lost it. How else can you explain his decision to turn his long hair into corn rows?
AP sports writer Dennis Waszak Jr. posted the photo you see above on Twitter Friday afternoon. Sanchez has taken a lot of crap in the past for keeping his long locks under control with a headband, but he has officially taken his hairstyle to a new level. This is a man who wants his starting job back — make no mistake about it.
UPDATE: Phew. Sanchez apparently lost a bet, which is why he braided his hair.
