Marshawn Lynch makes surprise visit to Seahawks locker room
The Seattle Seahawks had a surprise visitor in their locker room on Tuesday.
Running back Marshawn Lynch, who retired after the 2015 season, stopped by to greet his former teammates Tuesday, likely in town because former teammate Ricardo Lockette is launching a charity.
When asked how he was doing by Gregg Bell of the News Tribune, Lynch’s response was simple: “Smooth.”
Though Lynch hasn’t been around, fullback Will Tukuafu revealed that he still talks to his former teammate regularly.
“We always talk, whether he is here or he wasn’t,” Tukuafu said.
Lynch’s visit will probably spark a new barrage of comeback rumors. According to one former teammate, it’s not happening, and this wouldn’t change anything in that regard.
