Marshawn Lynch reportedly will not be back with Seahawks – they’re tired of him

Marshawn Lynch SeahawksMarshawn Lynch is not expected to be back with the Seattle Seahawks next season, according to a report.

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen says the Seahawks have grown tired of Lynch, who has been a distraction for his training camp holdout, missing the team’s Super Bowl celebration at the White House, and potential locker room stuff.

Lynch, whose four-year deal ends after next season, reportedly went bananas after Percy Harvin was traded by the team less than two weeks ago. NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport also says Lynch does not communicate with the team’s management nor coach Pete Carroll.

Lynch is not expected to be traded this season, but both he and the team do not expect he will be back in Seattle next season.

Though he seems like he’s been in the league forever, Lynch will be 29 and still is a top running back. He will garner plenty of interest as a free agent if he is cut. Seattle has Robert Turbin and Christine Michael, and if they cut Lynch, they may draft a running back, too.
