Matt Scott was puking everywhere before TD pass (Video)
One way to show an NFL team that you are deserving of a roster spot is displaying toughness. Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Matt Scott did that by blowing chunks all over the field before firing a touchdown pass on Thursday night.
Scott, who entered the game after Andy Dalton and Jason Campbell got their reps, was shown on camera throwing up multiple times before he threw a perfect 12-yard strike to Conner Vernon for a score late in the fourth quarter. Scott then ran the ball in for a two-point conversion.
That’s what I call committment. Either Scott wasn’t feeling well or he was extremely nervous. Whatever the case, he finished the game with 7 completions on 11 attempts for 66 yards and two touchdowns. The undrafted free agent also had a game-high 68 yards rushing and did not turn the ball over. If that performance doesn’t impress the Bengals coaches, nothing will. You know this guy can relate.
