Matthew Stafford unsure if he will use glove on Sunday

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford isn’t sure if he’ll wear a glove on Sunday against the New York Giants.

Stafford, who dislocated the middle finger on his throwing hand in last Sunday’s win over Chicago, continued to downplay the severity of the injury, casting doubt on whether he would even wear a glove.

“I’m sure it will get better,” Stafford said of the finger, via Michael David Smith of ProFootballTalk. “Still working on it, figuring out what will be best come Sunday. . . . It’s never fun when it’s on your throwing hand but I’ll figure it out and we’ll go from there.”

Stafford has been shrugging off the injury ever since he suffered it. Of course, we’ll need to see if his performance seems hindered at all when he actually takes the field.
