Michael Sam wants to give NFL ‘one more shot’
Michael Sam is committed to working his way back onto an NFL roster this offseason.
On Tuesday, a fan asked the former Missouri star on Twitter if he is looking to try out for any teams heading into the 2016 season. Sam confirmed that is his plan.

After he left the CFL for good last summer, Sam was unable to find work in the NFL. He did, however, say that he plans to keep working at it. Sam said he left the CFL because he felt he wasn’t getting better as a player, though there were reports that made his departure sound a lot more serious than that.
When asked recently about the Rams — the team that drafted Sam — relocating to Los Angeles, Sam cracked a funny joke. It’s clear that he would love to get a second chance from the Rams or any other NFL team after never having appeared in a regular season game.
