Nashville wants Pacman Out

Just yesterday I was harping on an issue I feel pretty strongly about — that the NFL needs to throw troubled Titans CB Pacman Jones out of the league. Even if the NFL hasn’t yet heeded my advice, it appears as if the community of Nashville has.

I was recently made aware of the newly launched website NOPACMAN.com whose mission is simple:

We at NOPACMAN.com wish to express our extreme concern over the Tennessee Titans player Adam “Pacman” Jones and his continued trouble with the law. We call for the great city of Nashville to come together and let the Tennessee Titans management know that we are fed up with Pacman and his thuggish behavior. We wish him well, but believe that the time has come for the Titans to sever ties with this unruly character. It is our belief that this will be in the best interest of Nashville, the Tennessee Titans, and for Jones as well.

They have a petition you can sign designed to keep Pacman out of Nashville. They even offer stickers for $3 with proceeds going to the local Boys & Girls Club of Nashville — a place Pacman should’ve frequented in his youth.

I’m proud of the city of Nashville, and I can only dream that the NFL is listening to the displeasure of the fans and acts accordingly.
