New York Jets troll Patriots on Twitter about coin toss decision
The Twitter accounts for professional sports teams are starting to become quite saucy. That definitely is the case for the New York Jets’ account.
Whoever was running the Jets’ account trolled the New England Patriots on Sunday about the rival team’s decision to kick at the start of overtime rather than receive.
The Patriots’ decision certainly worked out well for the Jets. After a touchback, they drove 80 yards and scored on a touchdown pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick to Eric Decker to win the game 26-20.
Even if the tweet was funny, that’s an awful lot of gloating from a person running a social media account who didn’t actually play in the game. Hopefully they avoid the same fate as the person running the Clippers’ Twitter account, though.
