Oddsmakers believe Steelers will trade Le’Veon Bell
The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly open to trading star running back Le’Veon Bell prior to the Oct. 31 deadline, and Las Vegas oddsmakers believe the team is going to do just that.
Bell has continued his holdout into the regular season, and there’s no real reason to think he will return to the team before Week 10, which is when he needs to show up by to prevent his contract from tolling. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Steelers have begun listening to trade offers for Bell.
Not long after Schefter shared his report on Sunday, new odds were released for how likely it is that Bell will be moved. Oddsmakers believe it is more likely that he winds up with another team than remains in Pittsburgh.

The window for Bell to negotiate a long-term contract extension has closed, so he has no choice but to sign his franchise tender eventually. But even if he can’t technically sign an extension with a team interested in trading for him, Bell could give said team assurances that he will re-sign if he approves of where he winds up.
Judging by some of his recent social media activity, it seems like Bell wants to move on from the Steelers.
