Odell Beckham says ankle injury could be problem all season
The New York Giants have looked completely lost on offense through their first two games, so it probably won’t make fans feel any better that Odell Beckham Jr could be playing at less than full strength for the foreseeable future.
On the plus side, Beckham told reporters on Thursday that he did not suffer any setbacks with his injured ankle during Monday night’s loss to the Detroit Lions. He expects to get more reps against the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday, but the star wide receiver is not ruling out the possibility of his ankle bothering him all season.
Giants WR Odell Beckham said he did not suffer any setbacks Monday night and "I look to play a lot more this week."

Is Odell Beckham's ankle likely to be an issue all season? "You never know," he said."I'm going to get it as good as I can."

Beckham originally said that his injury would take 4-6 weeks to heal completely, and it happened more than a month ago. However, there’s always a chance he could risk aggravating it by playing before he gets back to 100 percent strength.
Unfortunately, the Giants can’t afford to give their best offensive weapon rest. Some serious changes could already be coming in New York, and the team needs all hands on deck if it wants to bounce back after an ugly 0-2 start.
