Odell Beckham can’t even remember last time he won a game

Odell Beckham crying

The New York Giants had one of their roughest seasons in franchise history last year, and they are off to a brutal start once again in 2018. If you want to know how bad things have been for the franchise over the past year-plus, just ask Odell Beckham Jr.

When Beckham suffered a season-ending ankle injury last season, the Giants were 0-5. That means he would have to go all the way back to 2016 to remember the last time he was part of a win, and the star receiver put that into perspective on Thursday.

“I don’t remember when the last time I won a game was — maybe some cards or something, but not an NFL football game,” Beckham said. “I haven’t won one in a long time. It’s definitely not a good feeling.”

New York’s last win was in Week 17 last season, but Beckham was not on the active roster. The Giants haven’t exactly had an easy schedule to start things off in 2018, as they hosted the Jacksonville Jaguars at home in Week 1 and traveled to Dallas to face the Cowboys last weekend. They have another tough road test on Sunday against the Houston Texans, so they’ll need to make some serious adjustments.

The Giants talked a big game heading into their divisional matchup with Dallas, but they only put up 13 points after scoring 15 the week before. New York desperately needs to shake off its offensive struggles from a season ago.
