Why Odell Beckham may be in for a huge game against the 49ers

Odell Beckham Jr has been one of the very few bright spots for the New York Giants this season, and he has reason to believe his year could get even better against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night.

While speaking with reporters on Friday, Beckham noted how he always tends to have big games on or around his birthday, which was on Nov. 5.

Since the Giants had a bye last week, Beckham could not have considered Week 10 his birthday game. He was injured last season on his birthday, but he scored two touchdowns on Nov. 6, 2016, against the Philadelphia Eagles and three the year before that on Nov. 1 against the New Orleans Saints. As a rookie in 2014, he had 156 yards receiving on Nov. 3 and 108 on Nov. 9.

Perhaps there is a pattern of Odell showing out on or around his special day. If so, the 49ers had better pay extra attention to him. The Giants only have one win, but Beckham is on pace for one of his better statistical seasons and has still made some ridiculously athletic plays. The birthday boost could make him even more dangerous.
