Panthers players snubbed Rivals reporter over their recruiting rankings
Super Bowl Media Day is generally filled with lots of lighthearted questions, but one reporter was unable to speak with a few players for a pretty childish reason.
Krysten Peek, who writes for Rivals.com, tweeted on Monday that several Carolina Panthers players refused to answer her questions on camera. Why? Because said players were unhappy with the rating Rivals assigned to them coming out of high school.
Some Carolina Panthers players refused to talk to me on camera because Rivals 'didn't have me ranked high enough in high school' #seriously

I felt like reminding these guys YOU'RE PLAYING IN A SUPER BOWL! What do you care what you were ranked?!

That’s kind of ridiculous.
This isn’t the first time players have snubbed the media the week leading up to the Super Bowl, and you can watch the most infamous example of it here. But whoever the Panthers players were, we’re guessing Peek had absolutely nothing to do with their high school recruiting ranks. Holding a grudge over something like that is absurd.
